My work is a reflection of the beauty in nature often referencing land formations, I explore the varying relationships between natural structures and man-made architecture. I use a variety of materials to create my art. In my most recent work, the base is constructed using either folded book pages or rawhide and coated in beeswax. The subject matter of each body of work determines the materials used. In each project my process is consistent. Although there may not always be material similarities between the different pieces, they are linked by recurring formal concerns and through the subject matter. During production new areas of interest arise and lead to the next body of work.
