Susan Sancomb

Susan G. Sancomb is a photographer, graphic designer and mixed media collage artist based in Rhode Island. She is inspired by the natural world - most specifically bodies of water - examining and capturing its myriad qualities in unique and abstract ways for her black & white photography series “Drifting East.” Sancomb studied Photography first at Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI where she received her BFA, and then at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale for her MFA in Photography.

When not creating art, Sancomb spends much of her free time with her family and friends, hiking, bike riding, gardening, crocheting, reading, and kayaking.
