Hera Gallery is proud to present Uncharted Portal 13, an exhibition featuring the work of thirteen Senior Seminar students from the University of Rhode Island Department of Art and Art History.
For the first time in over two years, URI's Senior Seminar course was held in person and on campus in Kingston, RI. Exhibiting artist and Hera Gallery Intern Marisa Squire says “It’s good to be back in the studio where we are able to see each other's artistic process and progress. Being in person has allowed us to inspire and help each other as upcoming artists. It is great to see everyones’ creative practice flourish outside of the digital classroom.
Uncharted Portal 13, emphasizes the idea that we are all individuals that see the world in a different way. Each artist's work acts as a different portal into their own distinct creative world, made even more unique during this challenging time.
Featured Artists: Alison Meyer, Ana Alvarez, Aris Sawyer, Ashley LaBarbera, Brett Mayne, Cam Montalbano, Chyna Dougherty, Kat Hanley, Kyra Valestrand, Marisa Squire, Michelle Henning, Nyree Sylvia, R. Michael Spellman.
