Hera Gallery Presents:
Art To Table 2020 Benefit
RENEW – CREATE – ENVISION
January 24th, 2020, 6:30 p.m.
South Kingstown. Hera Gallery is proud to present its fourth annual Art To Table Benefit, an evening of creativity and sustainable fashion, fun, food and libations. The event will be held at the historic Narragansett Towers on Friday, January 24th, at 6:30 PM. This benefit brings the Rhode Island community together in support of the Hera Gallery. Creativity and sustainability are at the heart of an evening of fun activities with friends. Guests will enjoy a signature cocktail, cash bar, hors d’oeuvre catered by Chef Ginger from the Belmont Market, desserts from Ambrosia, and live music by Greyhound Dream. The 2020 Benefit features an up-cycled fashion show curated by RI fashion designer Brianna Moon of Brianna Moon featuring Bianca Jones-Pearson from Clothes Horse Clothing, and Rene Reyes from The Human Will. There will be a live auction of items from the fashion show and a silent auction of recycled, repurposed, and sustainably aware artwork. A lottery drawing of this year’s Hera, an oil painting by Hera artist Abigail Wamboldt is part of the program. Additionally, there will be a chance to get creative, make festive head pieces and capture the moment in a vintage photo booth - festive up-cycled attire welcome!
Couture made from Yesterday’s Fibers is a sustainable, up-cycled fashion show that features three RI designers, Brianna Moon (Pawtucket, RI), Bianca Jones-Pearson (Providence, RI), and Rene Reyes (Providence, RI). Moon will also create a one-of-a-kind jacket with artist Wamboldt’s Hera. All items in the fashion show focus on sustainable creativity and are handmade in each artist’s studio.
This year Hera Gallery partnered up with the Domestic Violence Resource Center and the Jonny Cake Food Pantry. Being active in our community beyond the walls of the gallery is a cornerstone of Hera’s mission. In this spirit, we will donate 10 percent of the ART TO TABLE 2020 proceeds to the Domestic Violence Resource Center and the Jonnycake Center Food Pantry. When you support Hera, you support the local community.
Tickets are $100 per guest, $50 for the 2nd guest. Tickets are available for purchase online through Eventbrite on our website OR through the mail, with all checks made out to: Hera Educational Foundation, PO Box 336, Wakefield RI, 02879. *Please note, Hera Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3), therefore, ticket sales and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
